We are a minority-woman-owned print shop! Beyond the standard t-shirt, we at Midnight Supply Co. (MSC) offer a wide array of t-shirt styles and fits as well as other printable apparel products and accessories including, hoodies, tote bags, tank tops, backpacks, towels, etc. Also, a big selection of garment styles and colors, printing techniques, ink colors and printing placements to make sure each custom t-shirt design is unique.
Order Submissions
Orders can be accepted by email, telephone, or in person. We will need to see your artwork to get the process moving forward.
First, we will look over the artwork and get a price quote together. Second, you will approve the price quote. We require a deposit of 50% up front on all orders. Once that deposit is paid and all artwork is print ready, we will put you in the print schedule.
Artwork Guidelines
We recommend that all artwork be submitted as Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator files (file names that end with .ai, .psd, .eps, or .tiff). All Photoshop files must be 300 dpi at the final print stage. For Adobe Illustrator, please convert the type to outlines. All other art files submitted may require adjustments. Please note that most images used for the web are not acceptable size or resolution for print. For all bitmap or halftone images, please supply an original of your file in the event that there needs to be any changes made to the pattern. If you are unsure about what to send, give us the largest file you have and we will let you know if it is useable.
For artwork that is not 100% print ready, we charge $60 per hour to make adjustments such as size, text, or any other manipulations. MSC Print House can help in designing a t-shirt if you are having trouble coming up with exactly what you want. We have a few freelance artists that we feel comfortable can help you get your ideas onto a shirt. Pricing, turnaround, and availability will vary.
Process Printing Guidelines
The following are the guidelines for all of our process printing. Process printing includes artwork with shading that is not in layers, photo-realistic images and all images that can't be separated into spot colors. We do require that a proof be approved before we print the job. We require a minimum of 72 pieces for all process work.
To get artwork over to us you can email us at art@mscprinthouse.com as long as the files are less than 15MB in size. If the files are larger, then you can bring them to us on a CD or jump drive, mail a CD, or use a file directory service like yousendit.com and filesend.net.
Please include a mock up version of your design on a t-shirt template. There is one you can download on the site. Make sure you are aware of the garment color you are using and make note if you plan to use more than one color garment. Indicate any Pantone colors you intend to use on the mock up and in your order instructions. If no Pantone color is specified we will use the closest match to the color of your artwork. Be sure your artwork is sized correctly and indicated on the mock up. Also take a look at how the artwork will fit on your entire run, Small - 2 XLarge. "Go as big as you can" has an entirely different meaning on a size Small shirt and a 2XLarge shirt.

Set Up and Film Charges
Film is a one-time charge. Once we have it, we keep it on file indefinitely. A "set up" fee ($30) will be charged each time the job is set up. It covers screen use, burning of the screen, and clean up. This will be charged as a re-set charge ($15).
